呂沛芸 Maggie Lu Pei Yu

Pei Yun is a Taiwanese mezzo-soprano and music educator based in Singapore. She graduated from the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore, where she studied under Professor Alan Bennett. During her study, she was selected to participate in numerous concerts and masterclasses, working with distinguished musicians such as Masaaki Suzuki, Roger Vignoles, and Tai-Li Chu, among others.

Her early promise was recognized in 2017 when she was awarded Outstanding Young Artist at the Mondial Chinese Vocalist Concourse, an achievement given to exceptional vocalists under the age of 25.

She made her professional debut in Singapore in 2019 with the Singapore Lyric Opera, performing the role of Mercédès in Bizet’s Carmen.

Since then, she has been actively performed in Singapore; in recent years, she has appeared in Hong Kong The Bel Canto Singers’ pop opera production My Beloved during its Singapore tour, and has also performed with the T’ang Quartet in their “T’ang Tours Singapore” concert series.
