高雄室內合唱團 Kaohsiung Chamber Choir

高雄室內合唱團成立於2002年，由一群熱愛精緻藝術音樂的合唱人組成，多年來持續為臺灣音樂環境注入精緻化的新力量，並致力引領南臺灣合唱藝術朝向更專業、多元的方向發展。2007至2023年間，在音樂總監翁佳芬教授帶領之下，團隊奠定清晰的藝術發展方向，精心策劃演出節目並施以嚴謹訓練，曲目規劃兼顧國際視野與在地文化。自2023年起，由駐團作曲家劉聖賢老師兼任藝術總監，為團隊注入不同世代與創作導向的藝術觀點，引領整體持續精進。

高雄室內合唱團每年規劃二至三場定期公演，亦長期受邀參與南臺灣各項產、官、學界重要活動，演出曲目涵蓋國家委託創作之本土歌謠新編、西洋各時期經典合唱作品，以及世界各地民謠。多年來亦積極拓展國際交流與精緻合唱形式，邀請多位國際指揮與團隊合作，並致力於女聲合唱、室內合唱、無伴奏人聲合唱等多樣型態的發展。同時，團隊亦持續推動合唱音樂與社會連結，透過校園通識教育、下鄉演出與快閃音樂會等形式，讓合唱藝術走入生活、貼近土地。

高雄室內合唱團曾參與多項國內外重要合唱節與合唱賽事，並屢獲佳績：參與2014年韓國釜山合唱節暨大賽，獲得古典混聲組金牌，2015年參與日本輕井澤國際合唱音樂節...等等，近期於2025年參與全國社會組合唱比賽，獲銀質獎殊榮；亦長期獲得公部門與藝文機構肯定，曾連續多年獲選高雄市傑出扶植演藝團隊，並於2011年至2015年間獲文化部扶植演藝團隊支持，2024年入選國家文藝基金會「Taiwan Top」年度贊助演藝團隊，2025、2026年皆榮獲高雄市傑出扶植演藝團隊殊榮。未來將持續秉持追求精緻合唱藝術的核心理念，推廣合唱音樂、深化文化交流，為南臺灣唱好歌、發好聲。

高室內目前由多個形式不同的合唱團組成，期望能展現各種形式的合唱音樂之美：【一團】團員歌劇、神劇合唱團，專注於中大型合唱交響作品之演唱；【二團】混聲室內合唱團，專研精緻室內合唱藝術；【金色時光合唱團】樂齡混聲合唱團，為推廣合唱教育，不設甄選門檻，；【金色女聲合唱團】全齡女聲合唱團，匯聚南臺灣喜愛合唱的女性；【兒童合唱團】透過遊戲化教學及豐富有趣的曲目培養合唱幼苗。

Founded in 2002, the Kaohsiung Chamber Choir was established by a group of choral musicians devoted to refined art music. Over the years, the choir has played an active role in enriching Taiwan’s musical landscape and advancing the development of choral art in southern Taiwan.

From 2007 to 2023, under the leadership of Artistic Director Professor WENG Chia-fen, the choir developed a clear artistic vision through carefully curated programming and rigorous training, with repertoire that balanced international perspectives and local culture. Since 2023, composer-in-residence LIU Shen-hsien has served as Artistic Director, bringing a new creative perspective to the ensemble.

The choir presents two to three regular concerts each year and is frequently invited to perform at major cultural, governmental, academic, and public events. Its repertoire includes Taiwanese works, Western choral classics, and folk songs from around the world. The choir also actively promotes international exchange and diverse choral forms, including chamber choir, women’s choir, and a cappella music, while bringing choral art closer to the public through educational outreach, rural performances, and flash mob concerts.

The Kaohsiung Chamber Choir has participated in numerous choral festivals and competitions in Taiwan and abroad, including the 2014 Busan Choral Festival and Competition, where it received a Gold Medal in the Classical Mixed Choir category, and the 2015 Karuizawa International Choral Festival. In 2025, it received the Silver Award at the National Social Group Choral Competition. The choir has also been recognized by public arts institutions, receiving support from the Ministry of Culture from 2011 to 2015, being selected as a 2024 “Taiwan Top” sponsored performing arts group by the National Culture and Arts Foundation, and being named an Outstanding Supported Performing Arts Group of Kaohsiung City in 2025 and 2026.

Today, the Kaohsiung Chamber Choir consists of several ensembles: KCC I, focusing on opera, oratorio, and large-scale choral-symphonic works; KCC II, dedicated to refined chamber choral repertoire; KCC Golden Glow, a senior mixed choir promoting lifelong choral education; KCC Aureate Voices, a women’s choir for singers of all ages; and KCC Children Choir, which nurtures young singers through creative and engaging choral education.
