逐浪之翼：荷蘭沉浸式內容特別展演

一隻蝴蝶引路，帶觀眾走入一個色彩繽紛卻正在碎裂的世界；一位十七世紀的荷蘭探險者在未來博物館裡甦醒，為即將沒頂的家園尋找新的可能。兩部作品分別從生態與歷史切入，邀請觀眾在動盪之中重新想像人與世界的未來。

「逐浪之翼」為 VR 藝廊推出的荷蘭沉浸式內容特別展演，集結兩部荷蘭 VR 製作：阿布納．普萊斯（Abner Preis）《與蝶同行》與安．費爾斯、盧克．康洛伊（Anne Fehres & Luke Conroy）共同創作的《復活巡演》。

展演分為兩個單元：十月由《與蝶同行》展映及藝術家來臺交流揭開序幕；十月至十二月則推出《復活巡演》三個月 VR 放映暨專家講座。

兩部作品以截然不同的視覺語言與敘事方式，讓沉浸式媒介成為觀看世界的另一種途徑。它們不為複雜的議題提供簡單答案，而是邀請觀眾從一段經驗、一個身體位置出發，重新感受自然、歷史與未來想像之間的關係。

Wings and Waves: A Special Showcase of Dutch Immersive Content

A butterfly leads visitors into a colourful world that is gradually falling apart. Elsewhere, a seventeenth-century Dutch explorer awakens in a museum of the future, seeking new possibilities for a homeland threatened by rising waters. Approaching ecology and history from distinct perspectives, these two works invite audiences to reimagine the future of humanity and the world amid uncertainty and change.

Wings and Waves is a special showcase of Dutch immersive content at the VR Gallery, featuring two Dutch VR productions: Conversation with a Butterfly by Abner Preis, and Revival Roadshow by Anne Fehres and Luke Conroy.

The programme unfolds in two strands. In October, the presentation opens with Conversation with a Butterfly, together with the artist’s visit to Taiwan. From October to December, Revival Roadshow will be presented as a three-month VR screening programme accompanied by an expert talk.

With markedly different visual languages and narrative approaches, the two works demonstrate how immersive media can offer another way of seeing the world. Rather than providing simple answers to complex questions, they invite visitors to begin with an encounter and an embodied point of view, and to reconsider the relationships among nature, history, and imagined futures.

《與蝶同行》Conversation with a Butterfly

2026 年 10 月｜VR 展映一個月

一隻數位蝴蝶領著觀眾，穿越由手繪色塊、童稚意象與希望故事交織而成的世界。作品觸及生態崩壞、難民處境、消費主義與氣候變遷，邀請觀眾重新發現這個世界，並在其中種下來自過去的種籽，滋養一個仍值得期待的共同未來。這是一段緩慢而感性的旅程：美與感受先行，意義則在後方慢慢浮現；沉浸式技術在此成為一種先被感受、再被理解的語言。

創作者為阿姆斯特丹藝術家阿布納．普萊斯（Abner Preis）。他的創作總是試著在看似無望的處境中留下希望，讓人重新學會在悲傷裡發笑，也在荒蕪之物上看見美。他曾獲 Cinekid Golden Lion 與 ANIDOX:VR Prize，並獲荷蘭 Mondriaan Fonds 與荷蘭電影基金（Stimuleringsfonds）資助；作品曾於 IDFA DocLab、Cinekid Festival、第 77 屆盧卡諾影展（與 GIFF 共同呈現），以及波伊曼斯范伯寧恩美術館（Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen）展出。

藝術家將於 10 月 10 日及 11 日下午到訪 VR 藝廊，在展覽現場與前來體驗的民眾直接交流，聊聊《與蝶同行》的創作發想，以及作品所關注的議題。藝術家結束臺北行程後，將續往高雄參與高雄電影節活動。

《復活巡演》Revival Roadshow

VR 放映三個月暨專家講座｜2026 年 10 月至 12 月

這部 17 分鐘的 VR 作品以諷刺筆調展開，場景設定在一座虛構的未來博物館，館內供奉著十七世紀荷蘭東印度公司（VOC）探險家亞伯．塔斯曼（Abel Tasman）。當荷蘭逐漸沒入上升的海平面，塔斯曼被復活為民族英雄，肩負一項新的殖民任務：為荷蘭氣候難民尋找新的土地。作品以檔案影像、AI 生成畫面、2D 動畫與流行文化符號拼貼而成，在戲謔與荒誕之中，追問殖民神話、氣候災難、假訊息，以及我們繼承且持續複製的權力結構。每位觀眾的體驗路徑皆不相同。

創作者為荷蘭藝術家安．費爾斯（Anne Fehres，1988 年生）與澳洲藝術家、社會學者盧克．康洛伊（Luke Conroy）。兩人共同組成 Nullshima Studio，作品獲歐盟創意歐洲計畫（Creative Europe）、荷蘭 Mondriaan Fonds、荷蘭電影基金、Eye Filmmuseum、IFFR 等機構支持。《復活巡演》於 2025 年鹿特丹國際影展（IFFR）首映，其後陸續於荷蘭電影節、日內瓦國際影展（GIFF）、萊比錫紀錄片影展（DOK Leipzig）、2026 年卡通動畫影展（Kaboom Animation Festival，VR 競賽單元入選）、維也納 Tricky Women / Tricky Realities、布拉格 One World、海牙 Movies That Matter 影展等場合放映，並獲 2026 年邁阿密 Filmgate 影展社會影響獎（Social Impact Award）。

專家講座｜羅斌 Robin Ruizendaal

講座暫定於 10 月 24 日（週六）下午舉行。講座預計由羅斌（Robin Ruizendaal）主講，從臺灣與荷蘭的歷史關係、荷蘭東印度公司在福爾摩沙的殖民經驗出發，進一步回應《復活巡演》中關於殖民想像、氣候危機與歷史遺緒的討論。

羅斌生於荷蘭，是長年定居臺灣的漢學家，擁有萊登大學漢學博士學位。他曾任臺原亞洲偶戲博物館館長與臺原偶戲團藝術總監，現為臺洋劇團藝術總監，並主持國立臺灣博物館亞洲戲偶研究計畫。其研究、策展與創作橫跨臺灣傳統偶戲、亞洲表演文化及臺荷文化交流；自 2000 年起，他曾於淡水紅毛城、澎湖天后宮及國立故宮博物院策劃十七世紀臺灣歷史相關展覽。羅斌於 2019 年獲法蘭西學院臺法文化獎、2021 年獲文化部文協獎章，2024 年獲臺北文化獎，以表彰其長年推廣臺灣偶戲與文化交流的貢獻。

Conversation with a Butterfly

October 2026 | One-month VR presentation

A digital butterfly guides visitors through a layered world of vivid drawings, childlike imagery and hopeful storytelling. Moving through ecological collapse, displacement, consumerism and climate change, the work invites us to look again at the world and to plant seeds from the past for a shared future. It is a gentle and emotional journey in which beauty and feeling arrive before explanation, allowing meaning to emerge gradually.

Abner Preis is an Amsterdam-based storyteller and immersive artist. His work looks for hope in situations that appear hopeless: a way to laugh with sadness and to find beauty in what seems bleak. He has received the Cinekid Golden Lion and the ANIDOX:VR Prize, with support from the Mondriaan Fonds and the Netherlands Film Fund. His work has been shown at IDFA DocLab, Cinekid Festival, the 77th Locarno Film Festival, co-presented with GIFF, and Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen.

The artist will visit the VR Gallery on the afternoons of 10 and 11 October, engaging directly with visitors at the exhibition and sharing the ideas behind Conversation with a Butterfly and the issues explored in the work. After his Taipei visit, he will travel to Kaohsiung to participate in activities related to the Kaohsiung Film Festival.

Revival Roadshow

Three-month VR screening programme and expert talk | October–December 2026

This 17-minute satirical VR work unfolds in a fictional museum of the future dedicated to seventeenth-century Dutch VOC explorer Abel Tasman. As the Netherlands sinks beneath rising seas, Tasman is resurrected as a national hero and given a new colonial assignment: to find land for Dutch climate refugees. Combining archival material, AI-generated footage, 2D animation and pop-culture references, the work probes colonial myth-making, climate catastrophe, misinformation, and the structures of power we inherit and continue to reproduce. Each visitor follows a different path through the experience.

Anne Fehres, a Dutch artist, and Luke Conroy, an Australian artist and sociologist, form Nullshima Studio. Their work has been supported by Creative Europe, Mondriaan Fonds, the Netherlands Film Fund, Eye Filmmuseum and IFFR. Revival Roadshow premiered at the International Film Festival Rotterdam in 2025 and has subsequently screened at the Netherlands Film Festival, Geneva International Film Festival, DOK Leipzig, Kaboom Animation Festival, Tricky Women / Tricky Realities Vienna, One World Prague and Movies That Matter in The Hague. It received the Social Impact Award at Filmgate Miami in 2026.

Expert Talk | Robin Ruizendaal

The expert talk is provisionally scheduled for the afternoon of Saturday, 24 October. Robin Ruizendaal will consider the historical connections between Taiwan and the Netherlands, the Dutch East India Company’s presence in Formosa, and the ways this colonial past can be revisited through Revival Roadshow’s entanglement of historical imagination, climate crisis and inherited power.

Robin Ruizendaal is a Dutch-born sinologist and long-term resident of Taiwan. He holds a Ph.D. in Sinology from Leiden University. He was director of the Taiyuan Asian Puppet Theatre Museum and artistic director of the Taiyuan Puppet Theatre Company, and is now artistic director of the Taiyang Theatre Company and head of the Asian theatre puppet research project at the National Taiwan Museum. His work spans Taiwanese traditional puppetry, Asian performance cultures, and Taiwan–Netherlands cultural exchange. Since 2000, he has curated exhibitions on seventeenth-century Taiwan at Fort San Domingo, Penghu Tianhou Temple and the National Palace Museum. He received the Prix franco-taiwanais from the Institut de France in 2019, Taiwan’s Cultural Collaboration Medal in 2021, and the Taipei Culture Award in 2024, in recognition of his long-standing contribution to Taiwanese puppetry and cultural exchange.
