指揮／萊納．霍內克 Rainer Honeck

生於1961年，七歲開始學琴，於維也納音樂與表演藝術高中進修，並師事維也納愛樂樂團成員阿爾菲德·史達。

萊納·霍內克於1981年加入維也納國家歌劇院及維也納愛樂樂團擔任第一小提琴，並於1984年與1992年先後成為維也納歌劇院及愛樂之樂團首席。

維也納愛樂是霍內克音樂事業的核心，但他本身也是知名獨奏家，於奧地利、歐洲、日本、美國等地皆有音樂會演出。個人音樂事業重點包括與下列對象合作之獨奏會：維也納愛樂樂團、倫敦交響樂團、匹茲堡交響樂團、馬林斯基劇院管絃樂團，以及赫伯特·布隆斯泰特、謝米揚·畢契科夫、亞當·費雪、丹尼爾·加蒂、瓦勒力·葛濟夫、丹尼爾·哈汀、曼弗雷德·赫尼克、馬利斯·揚松斯、里卡多·慕提、安德列斯·奧羅斯科·埃斯，以及邁可·提爾森·湯瑪斯等知名指揮家。

他以樂團首席身分推出的知名錄音作品包括由小澤征爾指揮、維也納愛樂演奏的林姆斯基-高沙可夫《舍赫拉查達》現場演奏（飛利浦唱片）：以及由克里斯蒂安·蒂勒曼指揮的理查·史特勞斯《英雄的生涯》（德國留聲機唱片）。他更進一步與布拉格捷克愛樂錄製德弗札克與孟德爾頌的小提琴協奏曲（波麗佳音唱片）、舒伯特的小提琴與鋼琴作品全集（Frohla Studios）、Orfeo唱片推出的莫札特小提琴協奏曲雙CD，以及用獨奏家與維也納-柏林室內樂團首席身分錄製的《迴旋曲》CD專輯（索尼唱片）。

萊納·霍內克是密集多產的室內樂音樂家，他是維也納演奏家樂團與維也納弦樂獨奏樂團的創始元老及首席；木管五重奏及（2008年起）維也納-柏林室內樂團的創始人之一。其參與之廣播、電視節目、唱片專輯等，皆記錄了這段歷程。

霍內克擔任樂團首席以及與各大室內樂團的合作經驗，可謂「領先群雄」，所以自然成為他拓展領域的踏腳石，他開始跨足指揮，替下列樂團擔任指揮，包括名古屋愛樂、讀賣日本交響樂團、瑞典馬爾默交響樂團、俄羅斯聖彼得堡馬林斯基劇院交響樂團、奧匈海頓愛樂，以及日本東京紀尾井音樂廳管弦樂團，最近更被延聘為該樂團首席指揮。

萊納·霍內克使用1725年製作的「夏康」史特拉底瓦里小提琴，目前由奧地利國家銀行出借。

Rainer Honeck, born in 1961, joined the orchestra of the Vienna State Opera and the Vienna Philharmonic in 1981, advancing to the position of concert master at the opera in 1984 and at the Philharmonic in 1992.

Besides his orchestral work he also performs as a soloist with the Vienna Philharmonic Orchestra. Highlights were Dvorak’s Violin Concerto with Mariss Jansons, Mozart under Riccardo Muti and Herbert Blomstedt, Alban Berg’s concerto with Daniele Gatti and Stravinsky’s Concerto with Andres Oroczo-Estrada, which he also played with London Symphony Orchestra and Daniel Harding. The Britten Violin converto he performed with Ptittsburgh Symphony , led by his brother Manfred Honeck.

Other soloistic performances are regularely with the ,Yomiuri Nippon Symphony Orchestra, the Kioi Sinfonietta in Tokyo, The Nagoya Philharmonic, the Malmö Symphony Orchestra and the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra in St Petersburg.

Having made a successful career as an orchestral musician, soloist and ensemble player, Honeck also began to appear as a conductor, and has already led the Yomiuri Symphony orchestra Tokyo, the Nagoya Philharmonic Orchestra, the Malmo Symphony Orchestra, the Mariinsky Theatre Orchestra and the Austro Hungarian Haydn Philharmonie. From 2017 he will be the principal conductor of the Kioi Hall Chamber Orchestra Tokyo.

He has always been active as a chamber musician, f.e. leader of the Wiener Virtuosen, of the Wiener Streichersolisten , Ensemble Wien and of the Chamber Orchestra Vienna-Berlin. Rainer Honeck plays the Stradivarius „Chaconne“ (1725), on generous loan by the Oesterreichische Nationalbank
