王健 Jian WANG

大提琴家王健曾與許多世界頂尖的管弦樂團同台演出,包括倫敦交響樂團、克里夫蘭樂團、蘇黎世音樂廳管弦樂團、北德廣播易北愛樂樂團、皇家斯德哥爾摩愛樂管弦樂團、聖切契利亞音樂學院管弦樂團、巴黎管弦樂團和NHK交響樂團。這些音樂會多由著名指揮大師合作,如鄭明勳、道斯加德、杜達美、艾爾德、埃申巴哈、瓦格、哈丁、賈維、朗格雷、梵志登、威格斯沃和謝普斯-斯奈德。

近期及未來將共同合作演出的樂團包括紐約愛樂、香港愛樂、荷蘭廣播愛樂樂團、首爾愛樂、波士頓愛樂、芝加哥愛樂、國立台灣交響樂團、多倫多愛樂、墨爾本和新加坡交響樂團、還有柏林音樂廳管弦樂團和柏林愛樂管弦樂團。除了在中國舉辦多場佳評如潮的音樂會,王健亦參與了中國愛樂、上海交響樂團和澳門交響樂團的音樂季開季音樂會演出,也和中國國家交響樂團和杭州愛樂樂團同台演奏。王健是首位在上海交響樂團和中國國家大劇院管弦樂團皆擔任過駐團藝術家的音樂家,並在中國國家大劇院管弦樂團駐團時演出完整巴赫無伴奏大提琴組曲。

王健以獨奏家和室內樂演奏家身分在世界各地許多音樂節演出,包括瑞士的韋爾比耶音樂節、日本的宮崎音樂節、英國的奧德堡音樂節以及美國的檀格塢國際音樂節和莫札特音樂節。他在2008年首次於英國逍遙音樂會亮相,演奏了巴赫獨奏無伴奏大提琴組曲中的三首曲目。

他與德意志唱片公司 (DGG)合作錄製了大量專輯,包括與柏林愛樂樂團、克勞迪奧•阿巴多和吉爾•夏漢共同錄製布拉姆斯雙重協奏曲及巴赫無伴奏大提琴組曲,以及與瑪利亞•若昂•皮雷斯和奧古斯丁•杜梅灌錄室內樂專輯。

王健目前任教於上海音樂學院。他在上海音樂學院求學時,曾參與知名紀錄片《從毛澤東到莫札特-史坦在中國》演出,史坦對他的鼓勵和支持讓王健走上前往美國留學之路。王健於1985年以特殊生身分進入耶魯音樂學院接受培訓,師從著名大提琴家派瑞索。他彈奏的樂器由已故林修榮先生的家屬慷慨出借。

Jian Wang has performed with many of the world’s leading orchestras including the London Symphony, Cleveland, Zurich Tonhalle, NDR Elbphilharmonie, Stockholm Philharmonic, Santa Cecilia, Orchestre de Paris and NHK Symphony. These concerts have been with many of the greatest conductors, such as Chung, Dausgaard, Dudamel, Elder, Eschenbach, Gilbert, Harding, Neeme Jarvi, Langrée, van Zweden, Wigglesworth and Szeps-Znaider.

Recent and future highlights include concerts with the New York, Hong Kong, Netherlands Radio and Seoul Philharmonic Orchestras; Boston, Chicago, National Taiwan, Toronto, Melbourne and Singapore Symphony Orchestras, the Konzerthausorchester Berlin and Philharmonia. Amongst his many high-profile concerts in China, he has opened the season for the China Philharmonic, Shanghai Symphony and Macau Symphony Orchestras as well as performing with the China National Orchestra and Hangzhou Symphony. Jian was the first ever Artist in Residence for both the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra and the National Center for Performing Arts in Beijing, the latter included his performance of the complete Bach Cello Suites.

Jian has performed at many festivals throughout the world, as both soloist and chamber musician. These have included Verbier in Switzerland, Miyazaki in Japan, Aldeburgh in the UK and Tanglewood and Mostly Mozart in the USA. In 2008 Jian made his debut at the BBC Proms performing three of Bach’s solo Cello Suites.

He has an extensive discography with DGG, including the Bach Cello Suites and the Brahms Double Concerto with the Berliner Philharmoniker, Claudio Abbado and Gil Shaham and chamber music with Maria João Pires and Augustin Dumay. 

Jian is a Professor at the Shanghai Conservatory. Whilst studying there as a student he was featured in the celebrated documentary film From Mao to Mozart: Isaac Stern in China. Mr Stern's encouragement and support paved the way for him to go to the United States and in 1985 he entered the Yale School of Music under a special programme where he studied with the renowned cellist Aldo Parisot. His instrument is graciously loaned to him by the family of the late Mr. Sau-Wing Lam.
