次女高音／石易巧
屏東市人。畢業於臺南女子技術學院，東海大學音樂系，以及國立臺北藝術大學音樂研究所。先後師事蔡翠敏、范豫平以及徐以琳教授。
於2008年十月赴德國學習，已完成國立特羅辛根音樂院(Staatlichen Hochschule fuer Musik Trossingen)藝術家演唱文憑(Kuenstliche Ausbildung)、最高獨奏家文憑(Konzertexam Ausbildung )，師事Monika Moldenhauer，以及柏林漢斯•艾斯勒音樂院(Hanns Eisler)室內樂藝術歌曲碩士班，師事Wolfram Rieger。
獲邀參加Kurt Widmer、Irwin Gage以及Thomas Hampson大師班。藝術歌曲師承Wolfram Rieger以及Irwin Gage兩位著名藝術歌曲鋼琴家。
石易巧不僅僅只是歌劇演唱家，經常受邀舉行藝術歌曲獨唱會或者是神劇演出，曾連續兩年受邀至拜魯特以及Messkirch城堡音樂藝術節舉行獨唱會。自2012年樂季獲聘為德國Ulm劇院駐院獨唱歌手。

Mezzo-Soprano: I-Chiao Shih
Born in Pingtung City in Southern Taiwan, I-Chiao Shih graduated with a Master’s degree from the Graduate Institute of Musicology, Taipei National University of the Arts, and a Bachelor’s degree from the Tunghai University Department of Music, and academic education in Tainan Women’s College in Arts and Technology. Shih studied under Professors Tsuimin Tsai, Yu-Ping Fan and Yi-Lin Hsu.
In October 2008, Shih went to continue her studies in Germany, and completed an Art Song Performance Diploma (Kuenstliche Ausbildung) and Soloist Diploma (Konzertexam Ausbildung) from the University of Music, Trossingen (Staatlichen Hochschule fuer Musik Trossingen) and studied under Professor Monika Moldenhauer. She also received her Master of Music degree in Chamber Music from the Hanns Eisler School of Music Berlin and studied under Professor Wolfram Rieger.
Shih has been invited to attend master classes by Kurt Widmer, Irwin Gage and Thomas Hampson.
She also studied under renowned art song pianists Wolfram Rieger and Irwin Gage.
Not just an opera singer, Shih has often been invited to appear at art song recitals or oratorios, and has been invited for two consecutive years to perform at recitals at the Bayreuth and Messkirch Castle Music Festivals.
Since the 2012 orchestral season, Shih has been an appointed member of the Theater Ulm ensemble.
Shih’s accomplishments include the following:
•1st prize for girl’s mezzo solo in Taiwan Students´ Music Competition
•Academic grant from Tunghai University
•Doctoral/Master academic grant from Taipei National University of the Arts
•Honorable Mention Award at the 2003 Mondial Chinese Vocalist Concours in Taipei
•Silver award for Bel Canto of the Chinese International Vocal Competition
•1st prize for vocal performance section in the 2008 Young Artist Showcase Competition, and the Best New Musician prize from the National Symphony Orchestra in 2008
•2010 DAAD scholarship for foreign students in Germany
•3rd prize for Lieder Duo at the 2011 Germany Music College Contest
•2nd prize for 2011 Paula-Salomon-Lindenberg “Das Lied”
•Invited to perform Wesendonck Lieder in Bayreuth in 2013
•Received the Wagner Scholarship at the 2014 Bayreuth Festival
