蘇珊納․雷斯馬克被推崇為世界頂尖的戲劇次女高音之一，唱作俱佳，頻頻受邀於世界各地著名歌劇院演出，包括史卡拉歌劇院(《羅麗歐與茱麗葉》，亞尼克․聶澤-賽金指揮)、大都會歌劇院(《奧里伯爵》，馬瑞齊奧․貝尼尼指揮)、薩爾茲堡藝術節(《羅麗歐與茱麗葉》)以及柏林德意志歌劇院(《羅安格林》)等。

蘇珊納與皇家丹麥歌劇院長期合作，演唱過的角色包括《沒有影子的女人》中的安瑪、《萊茵黃金》及《女武神》中的佛麗卡、《齊格飛》中的艾妲、《帕西法爾》中的昆德麗、《唐懷瑟》中的維納斯、《崔斯坦與伊索德》中的布蘭葛娜、《遊唱詩人》中的阿蘇茜娜、《唐卡羅》中的埃柏麗公主、《阿伊達》中的安奈莉斯公主、《盧莎卡》(又譯《水仙女》)中的女巫、《莎樂美》中的黑落狄亞、《鄉村騎士》中的桑圖莎以及《修女安潔麗卡》中的公爵夫人等重量級角色。

蘇珊娜另外與法國土魯斯市政廳歌劇院合作了浦朗克《斷頭台上的修女》(又譯《聖衣會修女對話錄》，飾修道院院長瑪麗)、舊金山歌劇院演出李給替唯一歌劇《大滅絕》(飾梅斯卡琳娜)、漢堡國立歌劇院之《假面舞會》(飾鄔莉卡)、哥特堡歌劇院之雅納捷克《卡塔․卡芭娜娃》(飾富孀卡芭妮夏)、挪威歌劇院之《艾蕾克特拉》(飾克莉丹奈絲特拉)、斯德哥爾摩皇家歌劇院之《艾蕾克特拉》以及東京新國立劇場之《羅安格林》(飾奧特魯德)。

上一個樂季，蘇珊娜返回大都會歌劇院演出《奧里伯爵》、哥特堡歌劇院演出《盧莎卡》、斯德哥爾摩皇家歌劇院演出《假面舞會》。在巴伐利亞國立歌劇院《斷頭台上的修女》(肯特長野指揮)中再度成功的詮釋修道院院長一角，在英國格林德波恩歌劇藝術節飾演《法斯塔夫》中的奎克利夫人，同樣是佳評如潮。

蘇珊娜經常與世界知名指揮合作，包括布隆斯泰德、德柏格斯、畢契柯夫、匈旺特、葛濟夫、肯特長野、波德等。這個樂季她接下的歌劇角色有，丹麥皇家歌劇院的奎克利夫人(胡薩恩指揮)及《盧莎卡》的女巫(哈努斯指揮)，和智利聖地牙哥國家歌劇院《卡塔․卡芭娜娃》中的富孀。音樂會方面，將與德國杜伊斯堡愛樂合作演出威爾第的《安魂曲》(貝林堪比指揮)。

蘇珊娜․雷斯馬克出版過的錄音，包括大都會歌劇院製作的羅西尼《奧里伯爵》(維京古典)、丹麥皇家歌劇院製作的尼爾森《化妝舞會》(達卡波唱片)，哥本哈根歌劇院製作的華格納《唐懷瑟》、 《指環》全集(笛卡唱片)等。

Susanne Resmark  ｜  Mezzo-Soprano

Considered as one of the today’s leading dramatic mezzo-sopranos, Susanne Resmark has worked in many of the world’s major theatres including Teatro alla Scala as Gertrude (Romeo et Juliette) under Yannick Nézet-Séguin, The Metropolitan Opera as Ragonde (Le comte Ory) under Maurizio Benini, at the Salzburger Festspiele as Gertrude and at the Deutsche Oper Berlin as Ortrud (Lohengrin).

A long association with the Royal Danish Opera has seen performances as Amme (Die Frau ohne Schatten), Fricka (Das Rheingold & Die Walküre), Erda (Siegfried), Kundry (Parsifal) , Venus (Tannhäuser), Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde), Azucena (Il trovatore), Eboli (Don Carlo), Amneris (Aida), Ježibaba (Rusalka), Herodias (Salome), Santuzza (Cavalleria rusticana) and La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica).

Elsewhere Susanne has appeared at Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse as Mère Marie (Dialogues des Carmélites), at San Francisco Opera as Mescalina (Le grand macabre), Hamburgische Staatsoper as Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera), Göteborgs Operan as Kabanicha (Káťa Kabanová), Den Norske Opera as Klytämnestra (Elektra), and she made her house debuts in both the Royal Opera Stockholm and the New National Theatre, Tokyo as Ortrud.

Last season saw Susanne Resmark return to the Metropolitan Opera in Le Comte Ory, to Göteborgs Operan in Rusalka and to the Royal Opera Stockholm in Un ballo in maschera.  She repeated her success as Mère Marie (Dialogues des Carmélites) at the Bayerische Staatsoper under Kent Nagano and made a highly successful debut at the Glyndebourne Festival, under Mark Elder, as Mistress Quickly (Falstaff).

Throughout her career Susanne Resmark has worked with many of the world’s leading conductors including Herbert Blomstedt, Rafael Frühbeck de Burgos, Semyon Bychkov, Michael Schønwandt, Valery Gergiev, Kent Nagano and Michael Boder.

Highlights of the current season include Mistress Quickly and Ježibaba at Royal Danish Opera under Leo Hussain and Tomáš Hanus respectively and Kabanicha at Teatro National de Santiago de Chile.  In concert, she returns to Verdi’s Requiem with the Duisberger Philharmoniker under Giordano Bellincampi.

Susanne Resmark features on several recordings including The Metropolitan Opera’s Le comte Ory (Maurizio Benini) which is released on Virgin Classics and three collaborations with Kasper Holten at the Royal Danish Opera under the baton of Michael Schønwandt: Maskarade available on DaCapo; Tannhäuser and The Copenhagen Ring both released on Decca.
