創立於2013年12月31日。

團隊核心源自屏風表演班暫停營運後，一群堅持繼續說故事的人。故事工廠以現代戲劇創作為主體，透過「說故事」的形式推動文化創意產業，網羅國內優秀劇場設計人才，經營原創設計經紀，成立初期潛心投入中小型劇場，期許為台灣培植更多專業劇場工作者，並藉由過往經驗積累，持續發展戲劇教育和推廣藝文活動，希冀將藝術帶進台灣各個角落，打造互動式的劇場人文環境，引動台灣土地的藝術活水。

歷史成績是團隊的養分，我們將以此為基礎，秉持對戲劇的熱情與使命，透過創意點子的發想，呈現生命中的每個動人時刻，提昇生活中對「美」與「愛」的感受。

Established on December 31, 2013

The core members of Story Works derive from Ping Fong Acting Troupe. As the latter stops operation, a group of storytellers established Story Works in order to carry on the spirit of art through story telling. The main goals of Story Works are not only to create modern drama via narration, but also to promote the creative and cultural industries.  These local experts have used their experience and passion in theatre to foster new and original approaches to theatre production.  During the early stages, they devoted most of their attention to small and mid-size theatres in hopes to cultivate more professional theatre workers.  Striving to bring the arts to every corner of Taiwan, Story Works continuously utilizes their accumulated knowledge to develop theatrical education as well as to promote artistic events. All of their efforts were for breeding an interactive environment of theatre and awakening new input for art in Taiwan.

The motivation of a group stems from its previous work achievements.  Therefore, Story Works today progresses from the foundation set by our founders, and works enthusiastically to develop much more creative ideas and to bring more touching moments to advance the sense of aestheticism and love in life.
