2016 projects of American heldentenor Stephen Gould include Tristan und Isolde in Berlin and at Bayreuth Festival, Die Walküre in Tokyo, where he sings his first Siegmund in a fully staged production, and Peter Grimes in Vienna.
2017 are scheduled, among others, Siegfried in Dresden, Tannhäuser in Berlin, Das Lied von der Erde in Chicago, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung in Toyko, Tristan und Isolde in Munich, Vienna and at Bayreuth Festival as well as Ariadne auf Naxos in Vienna. In Chicagohe will perform Mahler’s Das Lied von der Erde conducted by Bernard Haitink.
2018 are new productions of Parisfal in Baden-Baden conducted by Sir Simon Rattle and of Fidelio in Tokyo among his projects.

He sang Beethoven’s 9th symphony in Berlin and Munich, Beethoven's Missa Solemnis in Chicago, Schönberg’s Gurre-Lieder in Munich, Montreal, Berlin, Brussels, Amsterdam, Helsinki, Montreux and at the Lucerne Festival, Mahler's 8th symphony in Bergen, New York, Leipzig, Paris, Vienna and Budapest, Mahler's Das Lied von der Erde in Berlin, Graz, Lucerne, Paris and Prague, or Stravinsky’s Oedipus Rex in London.
Among his recordings are Beethoven IX with Donald Runnicles, Siegfried and Götterdämmerung twice with Christian Thielemann as well as Siegfried and Tristan und Isolde with Marek Janowski.
Im May 2015 he war awarded the title Österreichischer Kammersänger.
