嘉博‧卡利 Gábor Káli

生於匈牙利布達佩斯的嘉博．卡利很早就開始學習鋼琴及小提琴。他獲獎無數，並曾榮獲匈牙利音樂學院鋼琴比賽季軍。

卡利在布達佩斯李斯特音樂學院學習指揮，之後於2004年進入柏林藝術大學繼續修讀指揮，完成學業並取得文憑。他曾獲選為德國音樂理事會指揮論壇的成員，得以師從艾特沃許、海汀克及馬蘇爾等指揮大師。

卡利曾獲鋼琴家兼指揮家巴倫波因大師邀請參加柏林國家歌劇院的甄選試演。他在2015至2018年間出任紐倫堡國家劇院助理音樂總監及首席指揮，並在這段期間指揮演出大量歌劇、輕歌劇、芭蕾舞劇及音樂會。卡利曾多次擔任匈牙利布達佩斯國家歌劇院客席指揮，也常與歐洲、亞洲各地交響樂團合作演出音樂會。

卡利是2018年第一屆香港國際指揮大賽冠軍及樂團大獎得主，並於同年四月獲邀至波士頓交響樂團參加試演。

Born in Budapest, Hungary, Gábor Káli began playing the piano and the violin at an early age. He has been the recipient of various awards including 3rd place in the Hungarian Piano Competition. He began studying conducting at the Franz Liszt academy of Music in Budapest.

In 2004 he became an Erasmus conducting student at the University of Arts in Berlin, where he later finished his studies with a diploma. He was also chosen as a member of the Conducting Forum of the German Music Society. He took conducting courses with Peter Eötvös, Bernard Haitink and Kurt Masur among others.

He received an invitation from Maestro Daniel Barenboim to audition at the Berliner Staatstoper.

Between 2015 and 2018 he worked in the State Opera Nürnberg Germany as Assistant Musical Director and Principal Conductor, where he gave an enormous number of opera, operetta, ballet and concert performances.

He has also appeared and appears as a Guest Conductor in the Hungarian State Opera  and in concerts with orchestras in Asia and Europe.

In 2018 he won the 1. Hong Kong International Conducting Competition and the orchestra prize. In April 2018 he was invited to the Boston Symphony Orchestra to conduct an audition.
