曾文奕 Wen-I TSENG
男低音曾文奕,畢業於德國奧格斯堡大學利奧波特莫札特音樂院及國立台北藝術大學,師承 Prof. Dominik Wortig、李達人教授及李葭儀教授。曾連續獲選為第三十四、三十五屆奇美藝術獎音樂類得主。
2017 年參與兩廳院歌劇工作坊《灰姑娘》飾演 Alidoro。隨後於 2018 年起頻繁活躍於舞台,包括參與國立臺北藝術大學音樂系佛瑞《安魂曲》男低音獨唱、關渡藝術節《夢遊女》飾演 Rodolfo,並受國立臺灣交響樂團之邀,於臺中國家歌劇院演出《波希米亞人》飾演 Colline 及《托斯卡》飾演 Sciarrone。2019 年受邀於國立臺灣交響樂團開季音樂會《浮士德》中飾演 Brander。
2020 年,他在多場大型演出中擔任要角,包括台北愛樂歌劇坊《費加洛婚禮》飾演主角費加洛、國立臺灣交響樂團伯恩斯坦《Songfest》獨唱,並先後於台北國際合唱節閉幕音樂會與樂興之時「年終祈福」中擔任貝多芬《第九號交響曲》男低音獨唱。2022 年,他參與衛武營「瘋迷 24 舒伯特」《第五號彌撒》獨唱,並演出台北愛樂管弦樂團《阿伊達》大祭司 Ramfis,以及臺北市立交響樂團年度歌劇《奧泰羅》飾演 Montano。
2023 年,曾文奕的足跡延伸至歐洲,於德國奧格斯堡 Barfüßer 教堂演出巴哈《聖約翰受難曲》,飾演耶穌一角;同年亦參與衛武營與北市交聯合製作之歌劇《魔彈射手》飾演 Kuno。2024 年,他受邀演出衛武營年度歌劇《瑪儂.雷斯考》飾演 L’oste 及 Sergente,以及臺北市立交響樂團年度歌劇《波西米亞人》飾演 Colline。
2025 年,他受邀參與衛武營「柴可夫斯基 24 小時」於歌劇音樂會《尤金.奧涅金》飾演 Zaretsky,以及台北愛樂管弦樂團 40 周年《千人同慶》馬勒《第八號交響曲》擔任男低音獨唱。2026 年,參與國立臺灣交響樂團威爾第《安魂曲》擔任男低音獨唱;同年9 月參與臺北市立交響樂團年度歌劇《崔斯坦與伊索德》飾演 König Marke。
Bass Wen-I Tseng graduated from the Leopold Mozart College of Music at the University of Augsburg in Germany and the Taipei National University of the Arts, studying under Prof. Dominik Wortig, Prof. Ta-Jen Lee, and Prof. Chia-Yi Lee. He is a two-time consecutive recipient of the Chimei Arts Award in the music category (34th and 35th editions).
In 2017, he performed the role of Alidoro in the National Theater and Concert Hall (NTCH) Opera Studio's production of La Cenerentola. Since 2018, he has been highly active on stage. His performances include the bass solo in Fauré's Requiem with the Music Department of the Taipei National University of the Arts, and the role of Rodolfo in La Sonnambula at the Guandu Arts Festival. Invited by the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra (NTSO), he also performed the roles of Colline in La Bohème and Sciarrone in Tosca at the National Taichung Theater. In 2019, he was invited to perform the role of Brander in the NTSO's season-opening concert production of La Damnation de Faust.
In 2020, he took on major roles in several large-scale productions, including the title role of Figaro in Le Nozze di Figaro with the Taipei Philharmonic Opera Studio, and the bass solo in Bernstein's Songfest with the NTSO. He also served as the bass soloist in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9 at both the closing concert of the Taipei International Choral Festival and the Philharmonia Moments Musicaux's "Year-End Blessing" concert. In 2022, he participated in the National Kaohsiung Center for the Arts (Weiwuying) "24 Hours Schubert" performing the solo in Mass No. 5, and appeared as the High Priest Ramfis in the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra's Aida, as well as Montano in the Taipei Symphony Orchestra's (TSO) annual opera Otello.
In 2023, Tseng expanded his stage presence to Europe, performing the role of Jesus in Bach's St. John Passion at the Barfüßerkirche in Augsburg, Germany. That same year, he performed as Kuno in Der Freischütz, a co-production by Weiwuying and TSO. In 2024, he was invited to perform the roles of L'oste and Sergente in Weiwuying's annual opera Manon Lescaut, and Colline in TSO's annual opera La Bohème.
In 2025, he was invited to participate in Weiwuying's "Tchaikovsky 24 Hours," performing as Zaretsky in the Eugene Onegin opera concert, and served as the bass soloist in Mahler's Symphony No. 8 for the Taipei Philharmonic Orchestra's 40th-anniversary celebration. In 2026, he performed the bass solo in Verdi's Requiem with the NTSO. In September of the same year, he performed the role of König Marke in TSO's annual opera Tristan und Isolde.
