蘇珊納．雷斯馬克

蘇珊娜．雷斯馬克的音域寬廣、台上氣勢逼人，讓她在職業生涯中登上眾多知名的舞台，包括在斯卡拉大劇院與薩爾茲堡音樂節飾演《羅密歐與茱麗葉》的葛特綠、在大都會歌劇院演出《奧里伯爵》的拉貢德夫人、在巴伐利亞國家歌劇院飾演《斷頭台上的修女》的瑪麗修女，以及在葛萊德伯恩音樂節演出《法斯塔夫》的奎克莉夫人。

蘇珊娜與丹麥皇家歌劇院長久以來的合作關係讓她累積了眾多演出經驗，詮釋過的角色相當豐富，包括《莎樂美》的王后希羅底、《帕西法爾》的昆德麗、《沒有影子的女人》的安、《萊茵的黃金》與《女武神》的佛利卡、《露莎卡》的女巫、《齊格弗里德》的愛爾達、《唐懷瑟》的維納斯、《遊唱詩人》的阿珠奇娜、《修女安潔麗卡》的公爵夫人，以及《韓賽爾與葛麗泰》的女巫。

她也在其他的劇院演出，例如在土魯斯市政劇院演出《斷頭台上的修女》的瑪莉、在舊金山歌劇院演出《恐怖的末日》的瑪絲卡琳娜、在漢堡國立歌劇院演出《假面舞會》的烏莉卡、在聖地牙哥市立劇院演出《卡塔．卡芭諾瓦》的卡巴妮卡，並首次演出《馬哈哥尼城之興亡》的麗奧柯達佳、在奧斯陸挪威國家歌劇院演出《艾蕾克特拉》的克呂泰涅斯特拉，以及在威爾第歌劇院演出《崔斯坦與伊索德》的布蘭干內。她在斯德哥爾摩皇家歌劇院、東京的日本新國立劇場，以及柏林德意志歌劇院初次登台時，飾演的都是《羅安格林》歐楚德。

2017/18年樂季，她除了與丹麥皇家歌劇院合作之外，也在約瑟夫．龐斯的指揮之下，在利塞奧大歌劇院演出史蒂芬．勞利斯製作的《羅密歐與茱麗葉》的葛特綠。

蘇珊娜．雷斯馬克的錄音作品包括在大都會歌劇院演出《奧里伯爵》（維京古典）、在巴伐利亞國家歌劇院演出《斷頭台上的修女》（BelAir），以及在匈旺特的指揮下，於丹麥皇家歌劇院與凱斯伯．霍頓導演合作三齣歌劇：《假面舞會》（DaCapo）、《唐懷瑟》（Decca）與哥本哈根《尼貝龍指環》系利（Decca）。

蘇珊娜．雷斯馬克在2002年獲得夢寐以求的尼爾森獎肯定，2007年獲得丹麥瑪格麗特二世女王頒發的丹納布洛爵士勳章。

Susanne Resmark’s impressive vocal range and strong stage presence are just two qualities which have helped her build a career performing on many of the world’s major stages. This includes Teatro alla Scala and Salzburger Festspiele as Gertrude (Romeo et Juliette), The Metropolitan Opera as Ragonde (Le comte Ory), Bayerische Staatsoper as Mère Marie (Les dialogues des Carmélites) and at the Glyndebourne Festival as Mistress Quickly (Falstaff). 

A long association with the Royal Danish Opera has allowed Susanne to amass a broad and varied repertoire including Herodias (Salome), Kundry (Parsifal), Amme (Die Frau ohne Schatten), Fricka (Das Rheingold & Die Walküre), Ježibaba (Rusalka), Erda (Siegfried), Venus (Tannhäuser), Azucena (Il trovatore), La Zia Principessa (Suor Angelica) and The Witch (Hänsel und Gretel).

Elsewhere Susanne has appeared at Théâtre du Capitole Toulouse as Mère Marie, San Francisco Opera as Mescalina (Le grand macabre), Staatsoper Hamburg as Ulrica (Un ballo in maschera), Teatro Municipal de Santiago as Kabanicha (Káťa Kabanová) and also in her debut as Leokadja Begbick (Aufstieg und Fall der Stadt Mahagonny), Den Norske Opera as Klytämnestra (Elektra) and Teatro Verdi Trieste as Brangäne (Tristan und Isolde). She made her house debuts with the Royal Stockholm Opera, the New National Theatre, Tokyo and Deutsche Oper Berlin, as Ortrud.

In addition to her commitments at Royal Danish Opera in the 2017/18 season she sings Gertrude in Stephen Lawless’ production of Romeo et Juliette at Gran Teatre del Liceu conducted by Josep Pons.

Susanne Resmark features on several recordings including The Met’s Le comte Ory (Virgin Classics), Bayerische Staatsoper’s Dialogues des Carmélites (BelAir), and three collaborations with Kasper Holten at the Royal Danish Opera under the baton of Michael Schønwandt: Maskarade (DaCapo), Tannhäuser and The Copenhagen Ring (both Decca).

Susanne Resmark received the coveted Birgit Nilsson Award in 2002. In 2007 she was appointed Knight of the Dannebrog by HM Queen Margrethe II of Denmark.
