柔譚‧納吉 Zoltan Nagy
男中低音

許多歌劇院經常再次邀請柔譚客席演出,包括維也納歌劇院、尼斯歌劇院、畢爾包、匈牙利州立歌劇院、布達佩斯歌劇院、漢堡歌劇院等。近期他也在西班牙奧維耶多歌劇院(2017)、威爾第歌劇院(2016與2017)以及馬西莫劇院(2016)初次登臺。柔譚並與許多管絃樂團合作,包括維也納愛樂、奧地利國家廣播交響樂團(ORF)、都柏林RTE交響管弦樂團,以及在2016年時與新加坡交響樂團完成他在亞洲的首次登臺。

Transylvanian bass-baritone Zoltan Nagy is one of the opera world’s most versatile soloists. He is regularly invited to perform as a guest artist in many of Europe’s leading opera houses and has been recognized by opera critics for his strengths in both dramatic and comic roles. In his ten-year professional career that started as the youngest ensemble member hired by the Vienna State Opera, Zoltan continues to work with the most important conductors, singers and stage directors of our time.
Zoltan’s most requested roles are Escamillo (Carmen), Figaro (Le Nozze di Figaro), and Guglielmo (Cosi Fan Tutte). He regularly performs Schaunard (La Boheme), Haraschta (The Cunning Little Vixen), and Leander (The Love of Three Oranges). Recent role debuts include Dulcamara (L’Elisir d’Amore), Alberich (Siegfried), Dr Falke (Die Fledermaus), Don Giovanni, Count Almaviva (Le Nozze di Figaro) and Schmied (Egk's Peer Gynt), among many others.
Some of the opera houses where Zoltan regularly returns as a guest artist are Theater an der Wien, Opera de Nice, Bilbao (ABAO), the Hungarian State Opera, Budapest, and Hamburgische Staatsoper. His most recent debuts were at Teatro Campoamor (Opera de Oviedo, 2017), Teatro Verdi Trieste (2016 and 2017) and Teatro Massimo di Palermo (2016). Zoltan has worked with many orchestras including the Vienna Philharmonic, the ORF Symphony Orchestra in Vienna, the RTE Orchestra in Dublin, and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra in his Asian debut in 2016.
During his career, Zoltan has worked with conductors such as Tomas Netopil, Marco Armiliato, Leo Hussain, Pinchas Steinberg, Marc Minkowski, Peter Schneider, Ulf Schirmer, John Wilson and Alexander Soddy, among others. The stage directors Zoltan has collaborated with are: Peter Konwitschny, Damiano Michieletto, Inga Levant, Stefano Poda, Calixto Bieito, Paris Mexis, Thorsten Fischer, Georges Delnon, Maurizio Scaparro, and Immo Karaman.
Other notable collaborations include a Wiener Staatsoper gala concert where Zoltan sang with colleagues such as Juan Diego Florez, Jonas Kaufmann, Ramon Vargas, Michael Schade and Carlos Alvarez. Zoltan sang with Edita Gruberova in the Theater an der Wien’s Donizetti Gala evening with the ORF Symphony Orchestra.
He sings the role of Theseus in the Essen Philharmonic’s CD live recording of Bohuslav Martinu’s Ariane directed by Czech conductor Tomas Netopil, released in 2016 on Supraphon.
Engagements in 2017/2018 include his house and role debut as Alberich in Siegfried at Opera de Oviedo in Spain. He also debuts at the four theatres of Circuito Teatrale Lombardo as Escamillo, and as Bill in Kurt Weill's Rise and Fall of the City of Mahagonny. Concert engagements include his solo debut at the Lech Classic Festival 2017 and at the Robert Schumann Philharmonie (Chemnitz) in Beethoven's Symphony No. 9.
Zoltan studied at the Gheorghe Dima Music Academy in his hometown Cluj-Napoca. Upon graduation, he received a full scholarship to study at the prestigious Mozarteum University in Salzburg for a Masters degree in voice performance with Professor Boris Bakow. He has won prizes at various opera singing competitions including the Romanian National Song Competition, the Hariclea Darclee International Voice Competition, and “Debut”, the European Opera Singing Competition in Germany. In 2012 Zoltan participated in the Salzburg Festival’s Young Singers Project, and was then selected to sing in the Festival’s production of Das Labyrinth.
