林偉林 William LIM

新加坡出生的男中音林偉林早年在本地接受音樂教育，之後前往香港演藝學院及倫敦市政廳音樂及戲劇學院深造。

學成返新後，他與新加坡歌劇團合作演出，參與多部歌劇製作，包括不烈頓《仲夏夜之夢》，雷翁卡瓦洛《丑角》，奧芬巴赫《霍夫曼的故事》，莫扎特《魔笛》《唐璜》《費加洛的婚禮》，普契尼《波希米亞人》《蝴蝶夫人》《瑪儂雷斯考》《杜蘭朵》，約翰史特勞斯《蝙蝠》‘ 理查史特勞斯《莎樂美》以及威爾第《弄臣》和《茶花女》。

他亦曾參與多部清唱劇的演出，包括巴赫《馬太受難曲》，《b小調彌撒》，貝多芬《第九號交響曲 (合唱)》與《合唱幻想曲》，韓德爾《彌賽亞》，孟德爾頌《以利亞》《保羅》，以及莫扎特《安魂曲》。

除了歌劇與清唱劇演出以外，他亦參與室內樂演出，並參與新加坡愛樂室內合唱團的演出。

近年的演出包括於2024年為新加坡交響樂團的外展音樂會演唱莫扎特《莫笛》選段，以及新加坡歌劇團的音樂會《Puccini’s Women》中演唱男中音詠嘆調。

2026年他將在由Music for People主辦的音樂會《Symphony Beyond Time》中演唱貝多芬《第九號交響曲 (合唱)》。

Singapore born baritone William Lim studied locally before advancing his studies at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts and London’s Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

Upon returning to Singapore, he performed with the Singapore Lyric Opera. Among the productions in which he has appeared are Britten’s The Midsummer Night’s Dream, Leoncavallo’s Pagliacci, Offenbach’s Les Contes d’Hoffmann, Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte, Don Giovanni, Le Nozze di Figaro, Puccini’s La Boheme, Madama Butterfly, Manon Lescaut, Turandot, Johann Strauss’ Die Fledermaus, Richard Strauss’ Salome, Verdi’s Rigoletto and La Traviata. He has also participated in Bach’s St.Matthew Passion, B Minor Mass, Beethoven’s “Choral” Symphony, Choral Fantasy, Handel’s Messiah, Mendelssohn’s Elijah, Paulus, Mozart’s Requiem.

Besides singing in operas and oratorios, he has also sung in recitals and chamber music, particularly with the Philharmonic Chamber Choir of Singapore.

His most recent performances would be his performing excerpts from Mozart’s Die Zauberflöte for the Singapore Symphony Orchestra’s outreach programme in 2024 and singing baritone arias in the Singapore Lyric Opera’s gala concert, Puccini’s Women.

In 2026, he will perform in Beethoven’s Choral Symphony in the concert Symphopny Beyond Time, organised by Music for People.
