Based in the historic city of Tainan, artist Shen Guan-Yu has dedicated over a decade to deeply exploring the realms of geometric portraiture and the depiction of nature—specifically flowers, birds, and wildlife.
The exhibition is divided into three sections:
"Human-Centric" (Ren Ben): Features works from the *Pathways* series—including figure studies, portraits, and dance-inspired pieces—that combine sketching and oil painting with geometric techniques.
"Shared Visions" (Gong Jing): Presents the *Strolling in the Garden & Seeking Blossoms* series, featuring oil paintings centered on flowers, birds, and flora and fauna.
"Textual" (Wen Ben): Showcases a new series of mixed-media works that employ contemporary art to visualize the humanistic philosophies and imagery inherent in Chinese characters.
