Ms. Hsu Yuefang, born in 1942, is celebrating her 85th birthday this year, which also marks the 60th anniversary of her marriage—a blissful "diamond-gold" union—with her beloved husband. To commemorate these significant milestones, she is holding a retrospective ink-wash painting exhibition as a profound tribute to the passage of time through her brush and ink.
This exhibition features a curated selection of over one hundred works spanning her career, showcasing diverse artistic styles such as gongbi (meticulous brushwork) and traditional ink-wash painting. With subject matter ranging from flora and fauna to human figures, the exhibition serves not only as a comprehensive retrospective of her personal artistic journey but also as a heartfelt tribute to the mentorship and lasting memory of the late Zhao Yunsong, Bao Rong, and Zhang Keqi.
