Founded in 1956, the May Painting Association of Taiwan, alongside the Ton Fan Art Group, marks a milestone in postwar modern art. Made up largely of National Taiwan Normal University Fine Arts alumni, it advanced abstract art and ink innovation.
The 70th anniversary exhibition of the May Painting Association brings together 60 artists and around 140 works in oil, acrylic, and mixed media, highlighting cross-generational creativity and the evolution of Taiwanese art.
