克利斯欽．賈維 Kristjan Järvi

集指揮、製作人、作曲家、編曲家四種身分於一身的克利斯欽‧賈維，面對各項專業挑戰，總是拿出企業家百折不撓的精神；路透社曾經形容賈維:「在古典音樂圈，賈維以他的創意和精明的節目企畫聞名」。

身為指揮，賈維從經典曲目如華格納到英國搖滾樂團「電台司令」的歌曲，都如魚得水。他不墨守成規，在事業上求新求變，曾任萊比錫中德廣播交響樂團音樂總監，同時與普瑞茲克共同創立古典/嘻哈/爵士混搭風之「絕對室內樂團」；是波羅的海愛樂的創團指揮暨藝術總監，又是日光製作公司旗下「北歐脈動」電音樂隊的團長。

賈維與眾多名揚國際的藝術家、音樂家以及電影人一起工作。他為德國名導湯姆‧提克威執導的《巴比倫柏林》電視劇集創作配樂，並由「絕對室內樂團」和中德廣播交響樂團演奏錄音。在影視錄音領域，賈維參與了60張以上的專輯製作，其中包括科幻大片《雲圖》、《超感8人組》(二者皆為華卓斯基姊妹出品)、《梭哈人生》(湯姆‧提克威導演)等好萊塢電影的原聲帶，以及索尼古典、Chandos唱片發行的多張獲獎CD。2014年上市的《克利斯欽‧賈維的聲音計畫》系列專輯，集結了賈維涉獵的不同樂團、樂隊，各異其趣的成果表現。

2016年，賈維受邀出任愛沙尼亞奧林匹克委員會委員，成為該國史上第一位非體育背景、亦非政府官員的成員。他倡議的《愛沙尼亞之聲》活動，大力宣導身-心-靈健康是互為表裡，同等重要。

賈維與生俱來的企業家頭腦，使他熱衷策畫各種活動，並且經營日光製作公司，打理他所有的演出行程。日光近期的製作有〈水流〉跨界音樂會、〈絕對俱樂部〉(鋼琴:崔斯塔諾)、〈北歐脈動〉電音樂隊2018巡演等節目。

賈維出生於愛沙尼亞的指揮家庭，自幼移民美國，成長於紐約市；父親尼姆‧賈維、哥哥帕佛‧賈維都是樂壇知名指揮。2015年，賈維將事業重心從美國轉往愛沙尼亞首都塔林市。

Kristjan Järvi has ‘earned a reputation as one of the canniest, and most innovative,

programmers on the classical scene’ (Reuter). As a conductor, he directs the great classics from Wagner to Radiohead and is at home on the big international stages.

Kristjan Järvi defies musical orthodoxy and pursues his pioneering ideas and concepts with four bands and orchestras: He is Music Director of the MDR Leipzig Radio Symphony Orchestra. Together with Gene Pritsker he co-founded the New York-based classical-hiphop-jazz group “Absolute Ensemble". Järvi is founder-conductor and artistic director of the "Baltic Sea Philharmonic" and he is leader of the "Sunbeam Production" in-house band "Nordic Pulse".

Kristjan Järvi collaborates internationally with outstanding and creative personalities from the art, music and film scene. For example, he has composed individual pieces of music for Tom Tykwer's "Babylon Berlin" and has recorded the music for the series partly with the Absolute Ensemble and the MDR Radio Symphony Orchestra.

As a recording artist Järvi has more than 60 albums to his credit, from Hollywood soundracks such as "Cloud Atlas", "Sense 8" (both productions of the Wachowski sisters), "Hologram for the King" (Tom Tykwer) and award-winning albums on Sony Classical and Chandos, to his eponymous series: the “Kristjan Järvi Sound Project”. Launched in 2014, the series features projects across all of Järvi’s ensembles.

In 2016, Kristjan Järvi became an official member of the Estonian Olympic Committee, the first time this position was not filled by an sportsperson or government official. Kristjan's initiative "Sound Estonia" aims to promote the connection between and importance of a healthy body and mind.

An entrepreneur by nature and a passionate producer, Kristjan Järvi runs hiw own production company “Sunbeam Productions”, which bundles all his activities. Sunbeam Productions is the producer of the latest concert shows "Waterworks" (2017/2018), “Absolute Club” featuring Francesco Tristano and "Nordic Pulse" (2018)

Born in Estonia, Kristjan Järvo emigrated to the United States as a child and grew up in New York City. Kristjan comes from a family of conductors. His father Neeme and his elder brother Paavo are both great ones in their field. 2015 Kristjan relocated his center of life from the USA back to Tallinn/ Estonia.
