威利‧齊瑪曼 l 小提琴

出生於瑞士巴塞爾的威利‧齊默爾曼,六歲開始學習小提琴,1978年拜桑鐸‧佐迪為師,終以優異成績取得教學與演奏家文憑。在獎學金的補助之下,他得以師從桑鐸‧偉格,同時跟隨根特‧畢希勒持續進修。1985年至2007年,齊默爾曼領導國際知名的阿馬蒂弦樂四重奏,於全球各大表演廳登台演出,錄製超過30首曲子,並於德國、法國、義大利與瑞士獲得諸多獎項的肯定。這段時間,他亦與許多世界聞名音樂家攜手合作,如大衛‧葛林格斯、安東尼奧‧曼西斯、安納爾‧畢爾斯瑪、史蒂芬‧伊瑟利斯、艾德華·布魯納、保羅‧梅耶、詹姆斯·高威等等。1992年至2010年,齊默爾曼擔任瑞士溫特圖爾交響樂團的樂團首席,並於2008年起擔任蘇黎世室內樂團的樂團首席,帶領樂團演出許多音樂會,與不少享譽盛名的音樂家同台合作,如克里斯提安·齊瑪曼、法佐‧賽伊、安德拉斯‧席夫、魯道夫‧布赫賓德、海因里希‧席夫、托馬斯‧哲海特邁,以及詹姆斯·高威爵士。他亦曾以協同獨奏家的身分,與丹尼爾‧霍普、朱利亞諾‧卡米諾拉、帕特里夏‧科帕欽斯卡雅等音樂家攜手演出。2016年,齊默爾曼將帶領柏林愛樂的巴洛克樂團─柏林巴洛克獨奏者樂團。

Willi Zimmermann l Violin

Born in Basel, Willi Zimmermann first took violin lessons at the age of six. In 1978 he gained admission to Sandor Zöldy's class and eventually attained his teaching and concert diploma with distinction. A scholarship gave him the opportunity to pursue his studies with Sandor Végh and Günter Pichler. From 1985 to 2007 Willi Zimmermann was leader of the internationally acclaimed Amati Quartet, which performed in the great halls of the world and realized about 30 recordings, which won numerous prizes in Germany, France, Italy and Switzerland. In this function he worked together wit some of the world‘s most celebrated musicians as David Geringas, Antonio Menses, Anner Bjilsma, Steven Isserlis, Eduard Brunner, Paul Meyer, James Galway and many others. As principal concertmaster with the „Musikkollegium Winterthur“ orchestra (Switzerland) from 1992 to 2010 and concertmaster of the Zurich Chamber Orchestra since 2008 he has led the orchestra in many concerts. This has resulted in collaborations with renowned artists like Krystian Zimerman, Fazil Say, András Schiff, Rudolf Buchbinder, Heinrich Schiff, Thomas Zehetmair and Sir James Galway. He has performed as co-soloist with Daniel Hope, Giuliano Carmignola, Patricia Kopatchinskaja and many others. In 2016 Willi Zimmermann is leading the Berliner Barocksolisten, the baroque ensemble of Berliner Philharmoniker.

Willi Zimmermann plays a exeptional violin made by Antono Stradivari from 1714.
