指揮/法蘭切斯可.柯爾悌

1963年生於米蘭,柯爾悌在米蘭學習鋼琴、小提琴和作曲,在維也納學習指揮。早年他以小提琴家之姿在奧地利數個室內樂團工作,以聲樂指導的身分活躍於北義大利各個歌劇院。
1986年,柯爾悌於義大利伊耶西初次執棒歌劇《茶花女》,之後,游走於義大利各地的大歌劇院,在羅馬、杜林、維洛納和熱那亞等地指揮。這段期間,他的海外邀約主要來自法國和西班牙,指揮音樂會及歌劇演出。
1996年時成為杜塞道夫萊茵歌劇院駐院指揮,在這五個樂季當中,柯爾悌累積了大量的歌劇劇目,受邀為國立斯圖加特劇院、挪威歌劇院、哥特堡歌劇院及哈雷歌劇院的客席指揮,演出足跡遍及舊金山、維也納、柏林及首爾。
2000年至2006年,柯爾悌擔任德國法爾茨劇院音樂總監,之後則接任馬德堡愛樂音樂總監;在馬德堡愛樂任職的四年期間,柯爾悌不僅指揮歌劇也指揮許多音樂會,演出曲目涵蓋了自17世紀到19世紀的經典交響樂曲。
2007年至2013年,柯爾悌擔任蘇格蘭歌劇院音樂總監,於愛丁堡亞瑟音樂廳及格拉斯哥市政廳指揮多場膾炙人口的歌劇及音樂會,大幅提升了蘇格蘭歌劇院在英國的聲望。

Conductor: Francesco Corti

Francesco Corti was born in Milano in 1963. In his home city he studied piano, violin and composition and in Vienna conducting. He worked as violinist  in several ensembles in Austria and as repetiteur in thetres of northern Italy.
He made his debut as conductor in 1986 in Jesi with “La Traviata”. Engagements followed, both in opera and concert, mainly in France and Spain. He conducted in major italian opera houses like Roma,Torino, Verona and Genova.
In 1996 he was appointed “first house conductor” at the Deutsche Oper am Rhein in Düsseldorf. During five seasons in this position he could extensively broaden his operatic repertoire. Meanwhile, he has been regularly invited by the “Staatstheater Stuttgart” “Den Norske Opera” Oslo, the “Göteborg Operaen” and the “Opernhaus Halle”, both in the pit and on the podium. Relevant appearances in San Francisco, Vienna, Berlin and Seoul.
In 2000 he took up his position as “Generalmusikdirektor” of the Pfalztheater in Kaiserslauetern, where he remained until 2006. Immediately after, he became  Generalmusikdirektor of the Magdeburgische Philharmonie where he worked intensely for four years. During his tenure, beside the opera conducting, he was in charge of a vaste symphonic activity, covering the reperoire from the seventeenth to the nineteenth century.
Parallel to this leading position in Germany, in 2007 he was appointed  Music Director of the Scottish Opera in Glasgow. He held this post until 2013. In the Usher Hall of Edinburgh and in the City Halls of Glasgow he conducted remarkable concert performances of popular operas, enhancing the presence of the company in the country.
