單體安 Ti-An San 單體安,1999年生於臺中市,自幼學習鋼琴和小提琴,而後師從蔡宜真老師和施孟玟老師學習作曲,並對此產生了濃厚的興趣。高中畢業後前往維也納繼續深造,主修多媒體作曲和應用音樂(Medienkomposition und Angewandte Musik),師從Judit Varga教授。在學習期間,接觸了不同的文化與多樣化的藝術形式,創作範圍涵蓋影視配樂、聲景、劇場音樂及電子音樂等。今年夏天,以藝術碩士最高分的成績從國立維也納音樂與表演藝術大學(MDW)畢業,並獲得了2024年MDW Würdigungspreis(畢業生優異獎)。 Ti-An San, born in 1999 in Taichung, Taiwan, began learning piano and violin at an early age. She later studied composition under the guidance of Yi-Jen Tsai and Meng-Wen Shih, which ignited a deep passion for composing. After graduating from high school, she continued her studies in Vienna, majoring in Media Composition and Applied Music under Professor Judit Varga. During the studies, she immersed herself in diverse cultures and a wide range of art forms, composing works such as film scores, soundscapes, theater music, and electronic music. This summer, she graduated with the highest honors in Master of Arts at the University of Music and Performing Arts Vienna (mdw) and received the 2024 mdw Appreciation Award. 【參賽作品】群靈 Kawas 《Kawas》源自臺灣原住民族對自然的敬畏與靈性崇拜,他們相信自然界是由靈體(Kawas)守護,是萬物的深層連結。樂曲以低頻震動展開,彷彿來自大地深處的古老與永恆。隨著音樂發展,靈體在山林間遊走,風、葉與水的交織,如自然界的低語。強烈的音響則描繪出風暴與海浪的咆哮,展現自然的威嚴與力量。中段融入泰雅族遺訓歌「A、G、E」,銅管引領深沉如祖靈的訓誡,警示著後人。中後段引用鄒族安魂曲,對靈魂悼念與安慰,祖靈的庇佑在音符間帶來心靈的平靜與安息。樂曲終回歸寧靜,高低的共鳴如靈魂與自然的共存,並在靜謐中結束。此曲試圖透過多層次的語言,表達自然與靈性的深厚聯繫,靈體既是守護者,也是生、死與傳承的象徵。 "Kawas" is inspired by the deep reverence for nature and spiritual worship of the Taiwanese indigenous peoples. They believe that nature is protected by spirits (Kawas), which serve as the deep connection of all things. The music begins with low-frequency vibrations, evoking the ancient and eternal forces rising from the depths of the earth. As the music develops, the spirits wander through the mountains and forests, with the interplay of wind, leaves, and water, resembling the whispers of nature. The intense sounds depict the roaring of storms and waves, showcasing the majesty and power of nature. The middle section incorporates the Atayal tribe’s song of admonition, with the brass leading a deep melody like ancestral teachings, warning future generations. Later, the Tsou tribe’s Requiem is referenced, offering a tribute and comfort to the soul. The protection of ancestral spirits flows through the notes, bringing peace and rest to the spirit. The music eventually returns to tranquility, with high and low resonances symbolizing the coexistence of the soul and nature, concluding in a serene stillness. This piece attempts to express, through multi-layered musical language, the profound connection between nature and spirituality. The spirits are not only guardians, but also symbols of life, death, and inheritance. |
