Marking 391 years since the arrival of Guangze Zunwang in Taiwan, this exhibition presents, for the first time, a public display of treasured temple artifacts, highlighting its historical significance. Centered on the “Old Temple,” the exhibition brings together a curated selection of relics that reflect its former prominence. Highlights include elements of the once-thriving palanquin tradition, the plaque of Guangze Zunwang formerly enshrined in the main hall, and the guardian door gods that have long stood at the temple entrance.
Each object serves as a fragment of history, contributing to a broader reconstruction of the temple’s past. The network of affiliated shrines across Taiwan further demonstrates the continuity and development of this belief tradition over time.
During the exhibition period, the principal image of Guangze Zunwang will also be present at the venue. Traditional practices, such as divination through oracle poems and moon blocks, will continue to be observed, offering guidance to visitors.
Visitors are warmly invited to experience the cultural and historical dimensions of this living tradition.
