The 59th Golden Statue Arts Award Touring Exhibition aims to promote artistic and cultural activities within the Armed Forces and to enhance cultural exchange between the military and the public. Through the selection and promotion of artworks, the exhibition seeks to help the public better understand national defense, thereby encouraging support for national defense, and to strengthen international recognition of and support for Taiwan.
Whether responding to natural disasters or facing gray-zone harassment and targeted military actions by the Chinese Communist Party, officers and soldiers of the Armed Forces have consistently stood on the front lines in defense of the nation. Regardless of day or night, they sacrifice personal leave and family time. The Armed Forces’ efforts to strengthen training and enhance combat readiness, as well as their determination and will to safeguard national sovereignty and security, have gained recognition and affirmation from the public.
Through first-person perspectives of service members, the exhibition hopes to present many touching stories and emotions that are not widely known, expressing them through artistic creation. By sharing the stories of the Armed Forces together, the exhibition aims to enhance public identification with and support for national defense.
