GJ動漫創作嘉年華（Grand Journey）從2008年開始舉辦，是一個以台中在地為主的動漫畫推廣活動，希望藉由一年1~2次的活動作為中部地區的動漫畫同好交流平台，活動以同人社團為主體，囊括原創、二次創作與Cosplay角色扮演等元素。

除了同人誌販售會以外，也廣邀動漫畫相關產業的原創者進行專題講座、舉辦原創畫展、固定提供Cosplay角色扮演同好更衣與寄物空間等，期盼以多元的活動結合讓更多人參與體會動漫文化的美好。

The GJ Anime and Comic Creation Carnival (Grand Journey) has been held since 2008. It is a local Taichung-based anime and comics promotion event, hoping to serve as a platform for the exchange of anime and comics enthusiasts in the central region through activities held once or twice a year. All activities are initiated by fan clubs and include elements of originality, secondary creation, and cosplay.
In addition to selling fanzines, the event also invites original creators in the anime and manga related industries to give lectures, hold exhibitions of original paintings, and regularly provide cosplayers with space to change their clothes and temporarily store their belongings in the hope that more people will experience the beauty of anime and manga culture through the combination of diversified activities.
