面對此浪潮，我們選擇回到實體材質與手作的初心。

因緣際會下接觸到風化台檜，其質承載著歲月痕跡，節眼紋理自成天然章法，驚豔下遂成為烙畫主角。

以「依形創作」為法，順應裂隙與年輪引導結構，使自然語彙成為創作起點。
對於AI，我們視其為思考的夥伴與工具：前期探索構圖與意象，後期延展變化與流動；
而最終抉擇仍回歸手作與材質，讓工藝與AI相輔相成，守護記憶與手感的溫度。

When we first encountered AI-generated digital creation, we became keenly aware that a profound transformation in the concepts and practices of artistic creation was already quietly taking shape.
As language and algorithms gain the ability to generate images and forms without limit, the meaning and boundaries of creation are inevitably being redefined.
In response to this wave of change, we chose to return to the fundamentals of physical materials and handcraft. By chance, we came across weathered Taiwanese cypress. Bearing the traces of time, its knots and grain form natural compositions of their own, and its striking character soon became the central medium of our pyrographic works.
Our approach is based on “creating in response to form”: allowing cracks, contours, and growth rings to guide the composition, so that the visual language of nature itself becomes the starting point of creation.
We regard Gen-AI as both a tool and a partner in thought. In the early stages, it assists in exploring composition and imagery; later, it helps extend variations, movement, and possibilities. Yet the final decisions always return to the hands of the maker and the character of the material.
In this way, craftsmanship and Gen-AI complement one another, preserving the warmth of memory, materiality, and the human touch.
